Welcome to Bennington, Kansas, for the 34th annual Bennington PRCA Rodeo sponsored by the Bennington Lions Club, Inc. Once again, we have the opportunity to greet old friends and make new acquaintances at this year's Bennington PRCA Rodeo. Today, the Rodeo attracts some 350 rodeo contestants from the surrounding states to compete for approximately $37,000.00 In prize money and awards.

The Rodeo has served as the Bennington Lions Club, Inc.'s primary fund raising project and it has enabled the Lions Club to sponsor many youth activities in Bennington and the surrounding area.

The Lions Club recognizes that without the support of the rodeo fans who have purchased tickets, the area businesses that advertise in this program, and the many businesses who sponsor the added money to attract the top rodeo contestants, music shows and specialty acts to Bennington, that the Rodeo would not be the success that it is.

The Bennington Lions Club, Inc. members, along with other volunteers from the community, donate many hours of their time and everyone works without pay in order to contribute to the success of the Rodeo. The Bennington PRCA Rodeo is an example of what can be accomplished when a small community works together for a common goal.
